Chronic Brain Disorders?

Chronic brain disorders are brain diseases and other disorders that are biological in origin. They include Schizophrenia, Major Depression and Bi-Polar Disorder.

There is scientific evidence that schizophrenia and depression, for example, may result from chemical imbalances, deficiencies and structural abnormalities that can create a malfunction in the brain's signaling system.

Today, many chemical imbalances can be corrected. With proper treatment, two out of three victims of brain disorders can expect to improve their functioning and lead productive lives.

Brain disorders are not one but a combination of diseases.

  • Over 35 million Americans suffer from some form of these diseases.
  • They are indiscriminate and strike people from all walks of life.
